I shoot a Kel-Tec P11 and am saving brass for when I start reloading. While sorting what I have so far - mine - all Remington - and what I've picked up at the range - all Winchester - I noticed that all Remington was scored, none of the Winchester brass was. Is it the brass or is my P11 at fault?

The scoring seems to be consistent all the way around.

Thanks

My .45ACP Colt tends to "score" Remington and Winchester cases also. You might examine your chamber to insure it is smooth or polished as just your cases are "scored". What I see in the photos is not serious enought to worry about. Try some Winchester rounds and see what happens. By the way...When I run the Remington cases through my tumbler the "scoring" goes away. If your pistol is new it just might have to wear in a little. One last comment and I'll let the rest have a say in this. Auto pistols tend to "score" cases during extraction because the case has been expanded and is pulled before it has a chance to bounce back.

My $0.04 worth.... :D
