That is an excellent description of what happens. I'll have to "borrow" that one.Even your government in the US has gone left lately.........
I think that governments in developed countries are like NASCAR. You start up, turn to the left as hard as you can and then hit the gas.................
I think the OP was referring to the fact that the only legitimate purpose for handguns in Canada is target shooting. Self defence is not permitted. [emoji12]I have that exact model. Given it has a trigger only King Kong could love, it has never been a "target" type gun. At best, it was a last ditch belly gun.
wow! look at that bad boy !We just elected an anti-gun leftist government in Canada.
So I went out and bought this.
We cannot import handguns with barrels shorter than 4.2" nor .25 nor .32 nor .380s anymore into Canada so getting a small pistol means older ones already in Canada.
It's for target shooting of course.
I know that these AMT Backup .380s have a reputation for jamming but I'll clean it well, apply a good grease to the rails and if necessary will polish the feed ramp, change the recoil and mag springs and will run a variety of ammo through it to see what/if any it likes.
Why don't more people think like you in Canada? If more people spoke up maybe things could change. You are far ahead of us with your 2A rights. DO NOT SURRENDER THEM.
Governments want only one thing - more control.
This is exactly why all those guns are prohibited, due to barrel lengths les than 105mm or 4.133".geologist
That's a nice collection of guns you've got there. Several of them, like the S&W Model 19, Astra Constable, and the Beretta Model 70 would all make for decent CCW guns. Likewise the Baby Browning, Astra Cub, and the AMT Back Up could serve as a nice hideaway BUG.
My own collection would be somewhat like yours with a Baby Browning, KelTec P3AT, Colt Mustang, SIG P238, and two S&W J frames: a Model 649 and a Model 638.
