I'm not a fan of rhino roller loads in a small frame revolver. You get a lot of muzzle blast and recoil and very little in return. Those hot 2" loads will retain more velocity after they go through a target. Not really something good.

A 148 gr hbwc at target velocities gives adequate penetration and easily controlled. The bullet is already in an effective shape that a hollow point needs to expand a bit before it gets there. Carry std velocity SWCs for a reload.

Based on the Lucky Gunner ballistic test I picked up a box of Winchester Train and Defend 130 gr JHP today. Supposed to be a low recoil SD ammo. I'll shoot it this weekend and give a report.
I carry the 642 mostly and like I have always said, it's a belly gun!
It also hides nicely in my pocket when I do actually carry it, most times it's a truck gun cause I don't live in the wild west.
