I will be visiting Seattle and wanted to take a look around.
I searched for Warshall's on the web and found nothing. Is it gone?
Are there any gun shops in Seattle anymore?

Yes, Warshal's went out of business several years ago. But just a few doors north of the old Warshal's location, is Central Gun Exchange, at 1016 First Avenue, and a very fine store. Other than that, and a few pawn shops, Seattle has no gun store downtown.

there is Wade's in Bellevue if you want to shoot indoors and ogle some neat rifles.

Ben's if you're going to buy anything. It's a dirty, nasty pawn shop but they have good prices and a whole lot of stock.

There really isnt much thats actually within the city limits of seattle. In fact Central Gun Exchange is the only one that pops into mind except for Stan Bakers in Lake City and Butch's on Aurora by greenlake. I remember Stans having a pretty specific trade in antiques if thats what your interested in. I wouldnt recomend wasting time in Butchs unless you know for a fact that they have something you want. Ive been in the store several times and i have NEVER had good experience there, and this has been repeated by numerous friends of mine (in fact ive never even HEARD of a good experience there).

If you want to drive up north to Lynnwood you can visit Adventure Sports, which is a nice little shop. Its a little intimidating because its built out of a former house, but they are legit and pretty nice guys. Further north in south Everett (airport road) is Sams Gunshop which is the only indoor range on this side of the lake. They have a smallish selection of new and used firearms and very good service. Both of these are on highway 99. Sadly, thats about it on this side of downtown Seattle.

There is another shop in lynnwood by the name of (iirc) Lynwood Guns and Ammo, but they have some funky hours and i have never shopped there. There is also a tiny looking shop east of the freeway around 175th in Shoreline, but i have never been there, and cant even remember the name of the place.

I have fond memories of a bygone age when that list would have been longer, and im only 25. Ive shopped a few going-out-of-business sales, but ive never seen a gunshop grand opening. Not a good trend by any means :(
