Is anyone else planning to attend SAF's Gun Rights Policy Conference on October 5, 6 & 7 being held near Cincinnati?

If so, I'd like the chance to welcome y'all and to meet up. It is free (other than travel and lodging). This could answer that gnawing question of "What can I do to help restope and promote RKBA?"

It's in Erlanger, KY, which is just a few miles south of the river. There is a hotel that has a large meeting facility there. It's very much "greater Cincinnati," inside the I-275 loop, but is in KY so it's odd for us to call it Cincinnati.

I will be there along with two other friends. I have been to this conference twice before and would advise anyone who believes in the 2nd Amendment to try to make this conference even if you can only attend one day.

For any lawyers coming to town for this conference, Cincinnati's "Lawyers Chapter" of the Federalist Society is having a luncheon on Friday, October 5th. The speaker featured at the meeting will be Robert A. Levy, who will be presenting "Gun Control and the Second Amendment: DC Gun Ban in the Cross-Hairs." Mr. Levy is a Senior Fellow in Constitutional Studies at the Cato Institute. Mr. Levy is also co-counsel to the plaintiffs in Parker v. District of Columbia, which struck down the DC handgun ban under the Second Amendment and is now being appealed to the Supreme Court.

The event will take place at The Bankers Club on Friday, October 5, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. This event is a luncheon that is open to both members and non-members of the Federalist Society. The Bankers Club is located in the 5/3 Center Building at 511 Walnut Street on the 30th Floor. We are offering the event for a $15 luncheon charge.

Please RSVP to John Nalbandian by Wednesday, October 3 at (513) 357-9634 or by e-mail at [email protected].

I'll be there on Saturday. Looking forward to it. I will have my Buckeye Firearms maroon shirt on. Has my name on it. Please say Hi if you see me.
Buckeye Firearms will also have a table set up near the registration table.
