Second run at clays, or How John got his butt handed to him...

I shoot pre-mounted on skeet and Trap - low gun on sporting clays and 5 stand.

way back in the day loved to go dove hunting.just getting into clay shooting again.to me shooting premounted just doesn't feel right. i feel bound up and restricted. so i do better going low gun. now if i could get a lawn chair or cooler to sit on with my gun across my lap,then look out. o yea a shade tree to sit under would help also.take care everyone.

Just keep on practicing and one always needs to keep it enjoyable and have fun. We all have off day’s as a matter of fact yesterday, my wife for the first time kick my butt on both the trap and skeet range. Can’t think of anyone else I would rather have been beaten by.
As for the SxS concern everyone has their own preferences I myself never looked back after trying a SxS with a straight stock.
