I have changed vehicles and I need a new way to carry/hide my vehicle gun, which is usually my Shield, PCR or P-01.

When I am out and about, I like to keep it "handy". My new to me vehicle has bucket seat and a center console, but there is not good way to conceal in the console.

So, I had this idea...........

I need a way to attach a holster to the side of the console, close to the floor, beside/below the right right corner of the drivers seat. It has room to screw or attach something, but I have wondered about attaching a strip or sheet of Velcro to it and the attaching a holster to the Velcro. I would either have to attach the mating Velcro to the holster in some form or fashion. Unless someone makes a holster already with Velcro on it.

Has anyone done anything similar! Pics of your set up?

Any other recommendations?

The self adhesive Velcro should stick quite well to a kydex holster. I would recommend the kind that only uses the spiky type with no fuzzy side.

I had the same problem in my old car (it had 'sport seats' that Really clamped down on the buttcheeks). What I did was go to my local auto dealer and purchase some expanding 'rubber anchors' the same ones used to mount cargo nets and grocery hooks.

It's overbuilt for the application and the 'mushroom' isn't needed but it was at least a complete solution once you replace the 'mushroom' with a machine screw.
Drill appropriately located holes in the console (wrapping the drill bit for Minimum penetration) and mount the holster, drawing the expanding anchors tightly. Once it's time to sell/dispose of the car, paint the ends of the screws black and they're almost unnoticeable.
To be completely stealthy, you can mount the holster to a QD platform which can be removed so as not to alert prying eyes.
