i think he means is it a real AR or is it something like Airsoft. i'm going with fake mostly based on the silver trigger.

I'm going to say fake based on the fact that most of the time when someone posts a real gun on here, they don't ask: "real or fake."

I'm going to say if you pointed that thing at me I'd probably shoot you, as it looks real enough to me. Determining whether it is or not would take a closer inspection, at least for me.

I am going to say fake based on the silver ring behind the muzzle brake, the weird shape of the barrel, the silver trigger and the extremely bright lettering on the gun. Plus, as has been mentioned, few people posit "real or fake" if it isn't fake.

I will say it is real enough to get yourself shot in the face if you point it at a cop, solider or mall ninja.

The carry handle looks somewhat out of spec as well, unless that's some trick of the photograph.

what i don't understand is if someone's going to all the trouble to make a fake gun like that, why not make it full-auto?

I'm going to go with fake based on the fact I can't see a gas tube on the rifle and I don't think Armalite makes straight-pull ARs.

Not that it's definitive, but the take down pins appear to have screw heads.
