Does anyone out there know any thing about this line of auto's from Taurus. Looked at two of them today at Cabela's one had millenium pro and the onther just had millenium on the side. What is the difference other than price, the pro was $50.00 cheaper and looked in better shape??

Thanks in advance

Do NOT buy the non pro version. I have the new PT145, it has frame rails. Can't say anough good things about it. I carry it daily, as my CCW. That should say enough.

Great, powerful little pistol. Accurate, and easy to shoot.

I had a chance to shoot a friend's M-P PT245 a few months ago and I was suprised that it was both accurate and easy to shot. It was very accurate out to 15 yards (longest distance we tried). I had brought some WWB 230gr FMJ and some Remington Golden Saber 230gr JHP and had no problems with either type of round.

I was pleasantly suprised with the grip considering the mag is a full double-stack and the grip was not that wide. It fit my hand easily and felt comfortable. They are running around $300 in this area and at that price, I would certainly consider one for a carry pistol.

I totally agree with jetdriver.

Definitely go for the Pro model. I have the PT-145 Pro and could not be happier. I have over 800 rounds through it without a single problem.

It's very reliable, very concealable, and with a .45 cal. 10+1 capacity, it has become my primary carry weapon.

Have a SAFE and Happy New Year.

Jim
