The article by Neal Knox appearing in the above, was particularly interesting, re comment on what appears to be the Bush Administrations "walking a thin line", or as another old saying goes, "playing both sides against the middle".

According to the article, among other things, The Bushies have managed to award an "exclusive", for the listing of federal jobs, to monster.com . Monster, a resume posting/job listing service, one of several, is owned by Andrew McCelvy. Mr. McCelvy is also at the least, a prime mover in the anti-gun Americans For Gun Safety.

The Bushies have also acted to block legislation that would have, to some extent, addressed the anti-gun antics of BATF and the FBI, the past performances of each being more than slightly "checkered".

While communications addressed to The President are likely to go nowhere, though a large pile of them MIGHT carry some weight, raising hell with your congress critters (House, and Senate) could well achieve something interesting.

While one hopes that it does not boil down to a case of who will give gun rights/gun owners/ constitutional gurantees a worse screwing, the Democrats or the Republicans, it could come down to that, so pay attention, and try to do more than simply sitting there.
