OK, I know this has been discussed but I am just too confused and old. I know handgun laws pretty well.
Here is the situation. If a friend who lives up North has a rifle he wants to sell to me. Can he just ship it by US mail to MY FFL (who will accept it for me) and not go through his FFL up North????
Is it only Federal law that applies or do some States (like Maryland) have their own hoops to jump through.
I know long guns can go by US mail but the question is can he not go through a FFL.
If someone has the ATF statute on this a link is appreciated.
