Wife has the Colt Govt. .380. She bought it the year before they quit making it. Would trade me before she would that Colt! (don't blame her)

LOL!

If you are carrying this out in public, then one of the aluminum framed revolvers are nice, especially if it is hammerless like the 642. If you are just buying to shoot at the range, I would consider the steel framed revolver, like the Model 63 22 LR or a 60 38 Special.
I can't carry in public. I can only carry in my house/property. Since pocket carry is the only method I'm comfortable with, I'm thinking to get the .38Spl 60 or even the 36 Classic which are smaller and lighter than the .357Mag 60, 640 and 649. The 63 would be a really really fun gun at the range. Decisions, decisions...

Were it me, I'd keep the Colt Government .380 and start saving pennies for the next one.

I've sold a pistol or revolver here and there. And whether it was for financial necessity or for other "toys", Ive regretted most of them. In particular was when I sold my EMP .40 for a move to job that didn't work out as promised. Now I'm out a dream gun, AND unemployed.

I would never part with a Colt .380 Government because they are extremely hard to find and I know I would regret it. Then again, I'm a Colt fanboy and not really into revolvers. I would try to buy the J-frame without having to sell the .380 Government.

I would get the smith 63 in 22 LR if you can't carry the gun in public. It looks like you have a couple of good centerfire handguns for home protection. I would imagine that rimfire ammo is still cheaper to shoot than centerfire ammo in your country. I would not be shocked if ammo in general is expensive in Italy.

If you really want a centerfire revolver, steel framed Smith 640, 60, or 36 are great guns and more fun to shoot than the aluminum framed airweight guns.

That would be tough to be limited on the number of handguns you can own, but at least you can own them.

colt 380 stainless are rare. It took me 2 years to find one to go with my blued one. I would think long and hard before selling it as it would be not trivial to replace.
