I like my new Kimber so much that I am getting rid of a couple of guns in order to finance another 1911. I would appreciate any thoughts you all might have on both how much to get for the guns and which 1911 to get next. I am getting rid of the following:

-Ruger PC4 Carbine with 4 10rnd mags w/ghost ring sights.
-Ruger GP-100 w/Pachmyer grips and 2 speed loaders and a uncle mikes belt slide holster.
-Bersa Thunder .380 w/4 7 round mags and 1 10rnd mag.

I would really like help in coming up with fair prices for these.
Now as for the 1911. I would really like to get one of the following:
-S&W 1911
-S&W 1911sc
-Kimber 25th Anniversery Custom
-Kimber Eclipse Pro II
-Kimber Pro CDP II
Which would you take and why? This is going to be primarilly a range gun. My Kimber Tactical Pro II an alloy frame and lighter for carry. So I want something that would be good for lots of range use. I am kinda leaning towards a Comander sized gun only because I would only need to buy one size holster. But a Real 1911 sure would be nice. Thanks for any and all help. Juan

If its going to be a range gun, you should stick with the steel frame so the CDP and 1911sc would be out, IMO. The SW 1911 and the Kimber Anniversary edition are Gov't size so if you want a commander sized range gun, the Eclipse Pro is the one on your list that meets the criteria :).

Kimber Eclipse Pro II, it's the one I have been eye balling for a while... something different than a standard government model, and a looker to boot!

At the price those guns go for, I'd skip the Kimber or S&W guns entirely and get something like a STI Trojan 5.0.
