I am in the market for a new .22LR pistol. I had a ruger 22/45 that was great to shoot but was such a pain in the butt to clean I just got rid of it, now I wish I had put a volquartsen lower on it but whatever. I was kicking around the idea of a browning buck mark but I hear they are a mess to disassemble as well. Who makes a full size accurate .22 for less than $500? I like the ability to put a red dot scope on there because it makes new shooters feel like superstars.

I would highly recommend the CZ Kadet. Mine has run very reliably with a wide variety of ammunition and is a pleasure to shoot. If you don't have a CZ75B variant yet, it will probably cost you a bit over $500, or around $300 if all you need is the slide.
