Senate gun control votes no longer cancel out for SC

South Carolina now has two Senators with high GOA ratings, DeMint (R) - A and Graham (R) - B, retiring Hollings (D) - F.

Writing to them will feel more encouraging in the future. We also have a good governor and former Congressman, Sanford (R). If we could get the State police out of the CCW licensing regulation business, we would be all set.

I feel like South Carolina as a place to live has just improved dramatically.

Now if you can just do something about the humidity (it's November for crying out loud! Why the hell am I melting?) and teach the folks here to drive, this place might not be half bad.

Is there anywhere that people know how to drive or where they respect a speed limit? I have been around and don't see anything unusual here except minimal enforcement, at least rarely observing anyone stopped. That would be upstate near Clemson.
