My great uncle's H&R 922 (9 shot .22lr revolver) is in the safe.
My father has my Grandfather's Ithica 37, I'll end up with it in due time.

Neither are going to leave my possession until I leave all my possessions behind.

Mom gave me my dad's Winchester 94-32 w.s. after my dad died. My dad got it from my mom's dad as a wedding gift. Dad and grandpa used to go hunting together in Utah and grandpa used the 94-32.

My Grandfathers S&W 15-2, he bought it in 1967, I still have the original box and original receipt from the the day he purchased it.

The guns my father left me will go to my nephew, along with a few others, in due time. There is a S&W 10-5, with well worn finish, that I've put a lot of rounds through, it will be with me till I pass. There are, however, a bunch of guns I really don't have any need for, thought I did when I bought them, now they are taking up space. Last month I gave one away and it felt great, the young man that got it enjoys the heck out of it and is putting it to good use every chance he gets. I'm not about to give 'em all away, but some more will soon be put into the hands of guys that will use and enjoy them.

I have a 1979 Clot Python, blued with a 4 .in bbl. that I bought used, LNIB, with the original box & papers 3 yrs. ago with the intention that it be passed on to my son when I die. I have a few nice guns & hopefully he will have them all, but they all go before the Python. :)

A Colt 1911 (311xxx)
A Colt Pocket Model Hammerless (145xxx)

These go way back in our family

Yes

My fathers 1911a

He served in Korea as an MD on the front lines with the Marines. They issued him a carbine, and he hated it. So he asked my mother to get a 1911 and mail it to him. She did, and he carried it throughtout Korea.

When I began shooting and he felt I was ready, I was 'allowed' to shoot the real thing, and I always remember it.

I now shoot it, and it brings back happy days- he is now gone and buried in Arlington Nat Cem.

Sell the old 1911- NEVER:)

Like most here, most of my guns have come from family...so they have a home here until they go to my grandchildren. My kids are already whinning.

One of my favorites is my grandfather's Rem. mod 510. A slightly used() .22 single shot. The other is the Ruger .22 pistol from my dad in '66.

Hard to think of letting any one of them go anywhere but another family member's home.

Mark.

1. Remington 1100 12ga, inherited from my Dad
2. Colt Frontier Scout SA 22, same as above

My brother inherited
1. Browning .22 rifle
2. Winchester Model 12 shotgun
Both, unfortunately were ripped off by an exfriend of his, who needed a place to stay.

Crossman 760. The only gun my dad ever owned. I grew up in the burbs and dad never hunted or shot, but he hated the rabbits and groundhogs in his garden, so I bought him a pellet gun for Christmas one year. We made a little gong and would spend hours on the porch drinking beers and shooting the gong. Sadly, he died before I really got into guns so I could never take him shooting.

Pre '64 Model 94. Inherited from my father in law. Has some collector's value but it doesn't matter; Its a good shooter and has too much sentimental value to be sold.

J.C. Higgins Model 20 shotgun. Inherited from my father in law. No cash value at all. It shoots good and is in excellent condition for as old as it is.

My late father-in-law's OLD mossberg 500A, and his snubby .38Spl now reside in "Foggy's Artillery Locker"

Brother has "Pops" (grandfather's) Savage 94B 16-Ga single-shot
