So I'm sure I'm not the only one who has ever suffered from this but it seems I am going through separation anxiety. I recently sent in my used CZ Rami P for some warranty repair and am feeling kind of anxious without it. The front sight needed some repair and it had some feeding issues with some certain larger grain ammo that I wanted resolved. It also had a slight frame bulge but nothing that effected performance so it wasn't a huge deal for me. Anyways CZ has been outstanding with their customer service and I can't speak highly enough of my experience with them. They decided to replace mine with the alloy frame or the p-07, can't beat that kind of deal :). I do have another carry weapon to use in its absence but do feel unsettled being one gun down for awhile.
Who else is like me and hates having to send a trusted gun away for repairs? Has anyone ever regretted sending one in? Or how about refusing to send one in and something worse happening to the firearm?
I also just wanted to give props to CZ again. The gunsmiths have been very friendly and knowledgable and correspondence has been very fast. Two thumbs up IMO.

I'm occasionally forced to go up to Canada, and it feels really strange walking around without something hangin' off my right hip. Not quite anxiety, more like awkwardness.

Not really. When I had to send my KP90 to Prescott when it was my only handgun it DID feel a bit weird. So weird I went out & bought a Taurus .357 wheelgun just so something would be there.

Today I have a backup or two (;)) so it's just "stuff," even my '52 Model of 1950 Target. Had it at the 'smith for a new hand for 3 months. No problem. I trust my guy.

It does feel uneasy when I am unarmed. Even if I am going downstairs to grab something.

I got that way this past summer on a road trip. I don't travel that often, but was taking one from Florida to several stops in Georgia, North Carolina, and Alabama. It was very hard to decide which guns would accompany me, and which ones would be left behind. What ended up tagging along were my two most-frequently-carried pieces, a Kel-Tec PF9 a Kel-Tec P32, and a newly-acquired Taurus PT22 (just in case I found some place to do some plinking or something.) But, I did miss my revolvers, which do get carried from time to time.

Nope....no anxiety at all.
If needed, I have plenty of replacements for my normal carry gun.
I'm not married to any of them.

This...

I miss my wife and kids when I am on the other side of the world, not my guns.
