Serial number search for FM Detective

I have an Argentina FM Hi Power 9MM Detective.
does anyone have knowledge to a manufacture date from the serial number?
Mine is 370xxx. I've been trying to find out when it was made. Any help??

From other sights, the general consensus is that it's almost impossible to date FM's based on serial number, as there is almost NO info available. So you have to scrounge around. I found this one one site: GUNBOARDS.COM...

Alex Gherovici on page 81 of "Military Pistols of Argentina" says that serial number 320659 was made between 1990 and 1991. I have not seen a FM Highpower/Industria Argentina that was not import marked.​

Not exactly what you were looking for, but close. Probably early-mid 1990's?

Try a search engine and look for "Serial Numbers for FM Hipowers",
