Hope that is 7.62.

I use 43 grains to drive the Berger 168 grain bthp. For many years this was the standard load in Service rifle competition.

I'm with 43.0. Using those crappy CCI 200s that so many people say are junk, and iron sights, my first 5-shot benched group at 200 was exactly 2 inches.

Hundreds of rounds later, it still performs that well.

This is in LC brass.

Sorry, I just can't bring myself to shoot ball powder through a match barrel. Stick powder burns cleaner.

I used to be a hgh power competitor using a very accurate .308 M1 Garand that I put together myself and a Winchester 70 built by Master Class Stocks. I tried various loads including loads using 748 but I always came back to a 168 Matchking with 42.0 of 4064 in a Winchester case with a Remington 9 1/2 primer. How that Hart barreled Model 70 would shoot!
