This article completely supports what I (and some others) have been saying in the myriad SIG P-320 threads about the "pistol that fires by itself."

Now, we know there are some here that believe everything they've read on the internet about the P-320, but it's growing clearer by the day that the lawsuits are spurred by anti-gun media and one litigious law firm with a bunch of embarrassed "highly-trained law enforcement officers" and "former military members" as plaintiffs.

The horror! The pistol that is too dangerous for even trained LEOs and 74-year-old Air Force veterans.

Seriously, though, note the commentary about the rash of lawsuits in the late '90s regarding how unsafe the Glock pistol was as there were so many unintentional (negligent) discharges by "highly trained police officers," especially the Washington DC Metro PD.

Here's some more information concerning misfires with the Sig Sauer P230.

From one year ago:

From 5 years ago; early models could fire if dropped; test involved hitting slide from behind with plastic hammer which did result in the weapon firing:

After watching the following video, I have doubts about the safety issue of the P320.

I may have to buy one to find out for myself.
