Can anyone personally recommend who I should purchase a soule sight from? I have a Pedersoli Billy Dixon rifle in .45-70 and have been shopping around. It seems that the two companies I've been able to locate so far that look the best are the Montana Vintage arms soule sights and Advance Mfg. soule sights. Any thoughts?

I have that very same rifle (and love it...VERY accurate). I have Pedersoli vernier rear and globe front sights on it...they are not the best.

Concensous of what I've seen is that the Montana Vintage are super primo the best.

I shoot some BPCR and the most common sights among serious competitors are MVA, Kelley, and Baldwin.

Lee Shaver is making good sights now, too; but I was not entirely satisfied with his Soule conversion on an Eyetalian vernier staff. Nothing wrong with his Soule drum but the staff was pretty sad. The Parts Unknown sights from the Ukraine are not bad.
Several brands at www.buffaloarms.com

Several of the guys on the Shiloh board are very high on Ron Heilman's sights and they are less expensive than other American made sights. Unfortunately, the Shiloh board is down and I don't know where else to look up his contact info, he does not have a website that I know of.

The Hoke has vernier, not Soule, windage but has a good reputation, too.
