heen also told the Times the furor "doesn't make me comfortable, but I must be doing something right." He added that he decided long ago it was more important to follow his personal convictions than to be on the "winning side."

:cuss:

"The Furor"? I can't believe I'm saying this, but if Bush is the Furor, I hope he's got a shower prepped for Sheen in Warsaw!!

:cuss: :barf:

It's stuff like this that gives me indigestion!!

(I'll refrain from the slew of vocabulary I have prepared...)

Uh... towblink, I think you may have confused furor with führer. Furor is like an uproar or a commotion.

Ok.. my bad vocabulary mistake..

BUT.. found this one..

David Clennon (of the television show "The Agency") appeared on the Sean Hannity radio show and likened America's current pro-war atmosphere to that of Nazi Germany. Was he comparing Bush to Adolf Hitler? No. Clennon said, "Hitler is smarter than Bush."

Poor little left-wing Kommykins. Imagine how embarassing it must be to get a mudhole stomped in one's a$$ by somebody dumber than Hitler. And not just once, but AT EVERY TURN! :p :neener:

hey now. i think a lot of people could be called 'smarter than bush'. and a lot of people could be called 'smarter than hitler' as well.

I haven't seen any evidence that Sheen referred to Bush as Hitler. I nonetheless refuse to patronize any of his work. I've sent an email to NBC as follows:

I've been an avid fan of "The West Wing" from it's first airing. Even though I am a moderately conservative Republican, and the show has a definite left-wing flavor, I found the writing and acting to be compelling. But, I can no longer tolerate the anti-war rantings of Martin Sheen and and his elitest Hollywood cohorts. I will not patronize ANY project to which Mr. Sheen's name is attached, and therefore, will no longer be watching West Wing. As a free American Mr. Sheen certainly has the right to express his opinion, as do I. He choses to utilize his celebrity bullypulpit to propogate his nonsense. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury of such a venue. But, I can and will raise my voice by refusing to patronize his work on your network. I will further make my opinion known to those businesses who currently advertise during your Wednesday night 8:00pm to 9:00pm timeslot.

Perhaps it won't do much good, but at least I got it off my chest.

You guys are just catching on that Martin Sheen is a wacked-out leftist? He's been out there for a long time saving the whales from the evil SUV's and saving the cows from McDonald's and saving our children from being taught how to read and write so that they can learn how to feel in tune with the cosmos . . .

Every time I hear "Sheen" I just shake my head and walk away.
I REALLY thought it was a hoot when they made him President for the idiot box show.

********************
BTW, I think you should send a letter to NBC that says:

Yours news is propaganda, your "entertainment" always falls in the categories of (a) propaganda, (b) barely disguised soft-core pornography, or (c) the complete rewriting of history. Therefore I will never support your network again. In fact, I have applied approximately 50 rounds of .45 ACP to my television in order to keep you from pumping your garbage into my house.
********************

And then I would send that same letter to ABC, CBS, FOX, CNN, MSNBC, FOX NEWS, etc., etc., etc.

One of them plays a president. (I guess. I refuse to watch Mr. Estevez aka sheen)

One of them IS The President.

Who cares what an actor says or does while he's busy playing make believe? His words mean nothing, unless you give him that power. He lives in his own make believe world.

If he wants to run for office, I may pay attention to him for a second or two.

NAAAAAAHHHHH!

Adios

Apparently Martin Sheen has reality confused with his TV show, The Left Wing!

The commie libs are really hurting. They are trying everything in their power to make GW look like a goon. Problem is, they don't have a leg to stand on. They are trying all their old tricks and no one's buying anymore. Well, no one but Hollywood, and no one really cares what they think either.

I've been an avid fan of "The West Wing" from it's first airing.
I haven't seen a single minute of any single episode. Although I like keeping up with what the useful idiots of the HollyWeird community are doing/propagating/regurgitating, watching The West Wing isn't necessary.

Its anti-American tone was imminentlly predictable from its inception. The hypocrites who produce and "star" in it revel in earning millions from it but decry the very opportunity our country offers.

Their contempt is palpable...and every single viewer, wittingly or not, who enables their anti-American message is culpable.

IMO, of course...

Zander states:

If you haven't "seen a single minute" then you don't really know, do you? Politically, there is very little within any given episode with which I agreed. But, as stated, I found the writing and acting (in most cases) to be compelling.

The difference between you and me my friend, is that I can speak from first hand experience, while you can only speculate and issue conjecture based on what you "think" it's all about. You're intitled to your opinion regardless of how you arrive at it. I prefer to base mine upon my own experience thank you.

Know thy enemy.

There was a story on CNN tonight re: all the uproar the actors are causing. The screen actors guild issued a statement trying to down play what their members are doing.
The best thing to do, is to try and ignore them and give them as little media attention as possible.

What about Charlie Sheen?

He HAS to be a good guy, look at Hot Shots and Hot Shots: Part Deux! If that isn't pro-america, I don't know what is@:D

Liberals...Jeeez!

Most of them feel "The West Wing" really is the governing body of the US. Sort of a govt in exile. It's the only place they have left (get it? "left" to go) to go.

Tell me you don't think Sheen would win if he were to run. Liberals say they care about this country but what they really "care" about is winning. That's all. They will do anything to beat the right, anything.

Winning validates their lifestyle. If they are in control, they MUST be right. They are such sad beings.

Martin Sheen. . . . .IIRC Mr. Sheen's big Hollywood break came when he starred in a movie call "Apocolypse Now" which was a WAR movie if my memory serves me.

So we have a movie star who owes his career to WAR--Martin Sheen

We have a movie and TV star who hates guns and would deny everyone else the right to possess them, yet he has made millions off 4 movies which feature bodacious gun play.--Danny Glover.

I just love the gold-plated hypocracy of Hollywood. These people are a hoot!

Screw Martin Estevez (I mean Sheen) and all his ilk.

Send him to Guantanamo internment camp with the rest of his buddies! We are at war (we did not start it - the radical arm of Islam did, but we need to finish it in a hurry), let's act like it.
