I need a pair of new shooting glasses.

My current pair is over 6 years old and it's falling apart.

I went to my local sporting good outlet, and the guy there is trying to talk me into some $50+ name-brand "uber" shooting glasses.

Well, a friend told me he has an extra pair of so-called "work glasses" -- they look great -- they seemed to be well made -- and I can get them for $0.00 -- free!!!

:D :D :D

What's the difference, if any, between "shooting" glasses and "work" glasses?

:p :p :p

I have some POS glasses that I use right now. They have extreme amounts of distortion. It is seriously enough to affect my shooting. more bucks = better materials = more pride of ownership = better shooting = more smiles

Umm...work glasses don't come in carbon fiber? Duhhh.... ;)

haha...You know I think you got me on carbon fiber too. I was looking at golf clubs and saw a cf one and really wanted it!

Anyways, you don't have to spend a lot of money on quality shooting glasses. The pair that I bought was about >10 and they work beautifully! They are made from aearo.

well, has anyone tried one of these? these are lab goggles that i use in the lab. :D
if it's good enough for corrosive chemicals, good enough for hot brass casing! it's not very aesthetic or fashion however.
