Shooting ranges in Danville, VA

Looks like I will be moving to Danville in the few weeks. Looking for a good pistol and rifle range in the area. I have friends in the region who have private land I can use but I am also looking for a more formal setting.

I have not been able to find much. Thanks in advance.

It's in Caswell County just a few miles south of Danville. Lot's of pistol bays. Not sure about rifle.

I checked out Cedar hill but there is very little info beyond a weak Facebook page. Looks OK but no covered lanes and you have to bring your own targets and more importantly stands.

Caswell Ranch is a private range with membership available. No rifle range. 8 bays I believe. Used to be a member. Their schedule changed so I stuck with my true love SASS.

They have IDPA, PCCA, and Ruger Rimfire. Dean Brevitt, the owner, is ex-SAS(UK) ex-LEO, and instructs local LEO for SWAT and other weapons and tactics.

Dean is also a 5 gun Grand Master in IDPA. Mr. Borland, please expand.

Just down the road at Eden, NC we shoot SASS on the second Sunday and the fifth Sunday.
