Anyone know of the clay game referred to as "scrap"? I've been told it's a combination of skeet and trap, but which way? Skeet targets from the trap stations, or trap targets from the skeet stations?

It's very possible that my local range has completely made up this game, all I know is I'm shooting it for our last night of fall league tonight and really have no idea what I'm getting into.

Thanks,

We play skrap on occasion. The way it is set up at our club is a trap set up under the pin. It is shot from the skeet stations and you have to hit from each station (1 to 7 and back no 8). You cannot move until you get a hit. Whoever can go the farthest is the winner. It is a lot of fun for a change of pace.

I've seen it here as trap launcher, skeet stations. YMMV, since it's not a registered sport.

We shoot a pair at station 1 - 1 trap and 1 high house; a pair at station 2 - 1 trap and 1 low house; a pair at station 3 - 1 trap and 1 high house; a pair at station 4 - 1 trap and 1 low house; a pair at station 5 - 1 trap and 1 high house; a pair at station 6 - 1 trap and 1 low house; a pair at station 7 - 1 trap and 1 high house -- then start backwards on station 6 with 1 trap and 1 low house etc until you get to station 1 then it is shooters choice for 1 shot (trap, high, or low houses). High 25 or 50 or 100 shot string wins. Not an easy shot on the trap shots from 3, 4, 5 stations especially if you turn on wobble. If you can rig the machines for true pairs - difficulty goes way up.
