Short pull butt plate for Remington 700 SPS

For those who have a Remington 700 SPS and have short arms the attached is a 3D printer .stl file to make a replacement but plate to recuce the length of pull by an inch...It ain't real pretty but it works..and the SPS stock ain't real pretty anyway..https://www.dropbox.com/s/vmpm4q3guctmq9w/buttpad.stl?dl=0. Thanks. I dont have a printer, but I do appreciate the shorter LOP and a way to get there.

I normally remove the silly recoil pads everything seems to com with these days, and fit a buttplate from Brownells. The stocks are usually pretty close to the right LOP with the pad gone, and the buttplates are petty easy to fit, if youre handy.

I don't have a 3D printer, or the knowledge how to make a 3D print file. Unfortunately, I don't do Dropbox so I can't look at your work, @Richard Jay King .

However, I did shorten the LOP on a lever gun of mine yesterday with a reproduction urethane buttplate from N.C. Ordnance.

It took some time with my hand tools to fit, but I'm less likely to short stroke the lever in weird body positions now.

Thats for sure........I round filed mine and put the barreled action into a B&C Medalist.......all issues solved
