Hi,
New member here, but a long time guest. I am needing some help finding a Short Reach Trigger for a P239. Apparently the P226 and P229 short triggers are a no go on the p239. I lost the end of my finger on my last tour so I am unable to reach the factory long trigger on my new Sig. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you!

Sig Customer Service

I thought the SRT was a "Short Reset Trigger" and not a Short Reach Trigger.

Perhaps the Sig Customer or Custom Service folks can assist.

You are correct, there is a short reset trigger. But there is also a short trigger in which the trigger itself is thinner for folks with small hands or short digits. I called Sig last week and asked if they had any. The guy replied, "No, have a good weekend", and hung up before I could say another word. Pretty frustrating. I talked to Sig customer service once before and they were very nice deal with. I'm just hoping to find someone who has swapped their short trigger out for a long one and would like to sell the short one, or who would like to trade a short one for a long one(I'll sweeten the deal if need be). Thanks for the reply.

They are out there. My BIL just had a short reach trigger (not short reset) installed on his sigP220. Said his gunsmith ordered it from sig. I'll try and find out if he felt it was an improvement. (He's missing the last joint of his trigger finger)

All I have come up with so far is this ad for a p239 with that trigger added after the gun was purchased.

Its a current ad. Only posted 2 days ago.

Maybe you can work something out....?

Edit to Add: I doesn't look like Sig offers it any more; perhaps it wasn't a big sell for that model being a smaller grip to start with.

Another Edit: It looks like they started calling it a Reduced Reach Trigger to avoid confusion. I found a few posts made in the last yr of people changing it out in favor of the standard trigger. It seems some people complained of the pointy tip of the trigger and pinching against the frame. Maybe tr contacting some of them - they made still have it collecting dust in a corners. Posting Want To Buy adds on a Sig forum might be an idea too since it seems to be discontinued. - (opps, I see that you did)

Thanks for your service.

There has been a delay in getting parts from Germany for the past year. Keep checking and maybe they will come back into stock again. Or maybe not Sig is not supporting parts for older model guns any more. I needed p228 extractors and Sig does not sell them anymore. When I called they said that they were looking to find a company to make older parts that they no longer produce. I wouldn't think that a 239 would fall into that category but who knows.
