I shot the best 3 shot group I think I've ever shot yesterday. I was excited so I figured I'd post some pics. :D

Rifle: Savage 110 .308
Scope: Bushnell Elite 3200 10x40 Mildot
Ammo: Federal Gold Medal Match 168gr BTHP
Range: 100 yards
Conditions: 10mph crosswind from left gusting to 15-20

Shot from benchrest using bipod.

Slightly less than .2" center to center.

Here's the rifle:

Thanks! It's a Bell & Carlson stock. The rifle also has a SharpShooterSupply competition trigger and tactical bolt handle.

I like it a lot. No problems at all. Very good scope at a great price because magnification isn't adjustable.

Outstanding shooting, considering the wind and that a bipod is not nearly as good as sandbags! When 3 shots look like 1.5 shots, you know you've got something!

Looks like a really nice stock. I also have the Sharp Shooter Supply trigger on my 12BVSS.

It is a very nice stock and the butt pad on it absorbs all the recoil. 7.62x39 feels like it kicks harder.

I love the SSS trigger. It's just too easy to adjust.

Good grouping! Is that stippling on the target? :D

You should be proud. It's a good feeling to beat a personal best. Many people will never shoot a group that tight, lucky or not.

I shoot the same rounds through my AR...I like 'em...a lot.

Nice shooting!

Shot my 10FP today, for the first time, and put 3 shots in almost 1 hole. The bench was frozen in the ground at 60yrds, so my group is just a warm up teaser, till I can move it back. I also used the same Fed Match ammo as you.

These Savages, are good shooters, except mine only has one trigger gaurd, and trigger:D

JDGray... I didn't even notice that shadow till you pointed it out. Pretty funny.

The entire rig, along with some ammo was about $900. The trigger that came with it (not the accu-trigger) was 3 or 4 pounds. I shot alright with it... +/- 1 MOA depending on conditions and how I was shooting. The SSS trigger is adjusted about as low as it can go... around 1 pound. 1 MOA is easy and I normally shoot 5 shots into about .75" CTC.

Hey great shooting. That scope is it a mil-dot reticle or duplex or what. I have been looking at a 10x40 bushnell elite 3200 in a mil-dot Cabelas seems to run around $300.00 and Graf and Sons runs them for $198.00 both claim to be the same model #. What model if I may ask is that one.

Thanks for the info

Thanks for the info on the scope. That is the same model # I have been kicking the tires about. I guess I just need to get the thing ordered. I am thinking of putting on a t/c encore 22-250

Looks good!

A hint for bipod shooters...
When shooting a bipod off a concrete bench (or other rough surfaces) put something under the legs of the bipod to reduce friction.
Under recoil, the rubber feet on the bipod can skitter across the surface instead of gliding smoothly.
I've used the silicone backing paper from sticky targets and it really does bring the groups back down where they're supposed to be.
