The wife and I will be there. Got all our stuff and ready to go. This will be our first time at SHOT. I have wanted to go for years, but never had the conections, until now. Would any of the SHOT show vets know if you can order single items and have delivered to your FFL business, or does it have to be bulk orders?
Friday dinner sounds good to me.
It will depend on the vendor. Some of the folks there are gunsmiths that do one off work. I am sure most of them will take an order. I'm sure Perazzi would entertain an offer on one of their $400,000 dollar matched sets. I suspect that trying to order, say, an 870 express at the Remington booth will get you chased out of the booth.
I will not be there this year. DSA is taking a bunch of fellows from our law enforcement training division, and only so many of us heavy eaters fit in the budget. The Team Spartan group are great guys, and far more interesting that me I assure you. Please stop by the booth and check out the latest/greatest in FALs. Be sure to handle the OSW--it is amazing! Oh and there may be some ladies there from our posters...
I have sent a PM to all who replied to this thread who indicated that they would or might attend. Please confirm to me by PM, even if you had previously posted that you would be there. Also, if you are responding (RSVPing) on behalf of more than one individual, mention that as well so that we can have at least an accurate estimate of a head count.
I did not find a PM anyware
My wife and I are planing on being at the Dixie Crossroads for dinner Friday nite. At this point we are about 90-95% sure of making the dinner, 100% for the show.

Shoot, I'd love to go! I work at the Orange County court house till evening- but I may be able to make it to the dinner. However, when will everyone be going to the Shot Show? And what is it all about? (never been)
Cowboy, I included you on the list, but there must nave been a snafu on the PM. No offense intended. I've got you down for 2.
Burnside Ninja: SHOT Show is the largest trade show for shooting, hunting and outdoor sports. About 40,000+ people, all of the major firearms and accessory manufacturers, covering more than 600,000 sq. ft. of floor. You must have some connection to the "industry" to get in (FFL or other related business + $50 at the door). If you are friends with an FFL, have a C&R license or can show that your job is related to law enforcement (perhaps your job at Orange County court house), you can get in. The show lasts four days (Thurs. - Sun.).
"So how many is that now? (Just curious, wondering if Dixie has enough room.)"
Current head count appears to be 21. Yes I'm sure they have enough room. I had initially made reservations for 20 but changed it to 21. Just ask for The High Road when you get there.
I should be at SHOT on Thursday, the other days I'll be working at the store. I'll keep an eye out for you and Charles. More then likely we'll meet up at some time.
Hello Tim
If you see Judy and I walking around, stop us and say Hi.
It has been so long since I’ve seen you at one of the training sessions, I am not sure I would recognize your face. Now that I am writing this, I think it was it at Blackwater we met.
