I have sitting out in my shop a "size-o-matic" 20 gauge reloader that from what I can tell has never been used. A neighbor gave it to me to try and sell for him a few fears ago and none of the locals had any interest. Can any of you give me info on one of these? It is a model 800B. It;s still mounted to a piece of plywood that I want to think it was shipped on from the factory. In all my years of shooting and metallic cartridge reloading I have never gone down the shot shell reloading road and know nothing about it. I have found two of these online and want to refuse to belive the price the sellers are asking. Any info on value or just how good of a machine this is would be GREATLY appreciated.

Here is a fuzzy phone picture.

Actually, they are a rather stout shot shell reloader. I think they retail for about $800, maybe a bit more?

if it were me, I would post it up on the forum under "Reloading equiptment for sale / trade". Or you could post it on one of the web sites that do that.

But unless you find someone that shoots a bunch of shot shell, such as competitive trap and skeet shooters, you might have problems finding a buy in today's shot shell reloading market, being that lead is so expensive.

The 800B are a great machine as gamestalker said. His price is high though. The current model, 800 plus, goes for around $800 new for one die set. A used 800B with all the required parts and in good condition should fetch somewhere around $400. If you are missing parts however, that price drops considerably. The tooling for these presses becomes expensive quickly and is no longer made. Existing inventory is running low. Pretty soon if you need new parts, you will have to convert it to the 800 plus model which will cost around 300 to 400 in upgrades. Hope this helps. Best of luck.

I'd load it up and take it to the nearest trap range and see what you can get for it. I'm sure someone would be delighted to take it off your hands, for a fair price.

Next time I go to St. George and have a couple of extra minutes I think I'll do that!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks
