Hey y'all! A local shop has a single shot, 30" barrel, 16 gauge shotgun that I can pick up very inexpensively ($50). The brand is "Ever Best". The gun looks OLD but she doesn't have any rust, just no bluing left and a patina from the years (I'm assuming she was blued when new). The problem is... I don't know ANYTHING about this brand, how to find out the age on the gun, what it's worth... Nothing.
Do any of you have experience with/knowledge of this brand? Serial # is A277**. If I do purchase this, I would also like to know if she's safe to shoot with modern loads/shells, etc.
I thank you in advance for any help you can give on this.
