IMHO.
Take a cocktail napkin, inscribe the equations needed to calculate the amount of "thrust" needed to impact actual flip and/or recoil. Take the number so derived and speculate on whether the amount of, and speed of, the hot gases so required would easily eat through an upper barrel of an O/U shotgun with bottom ported.
If you're me, you'll decide the amount and velocity are insufficient to do anything other than crud-up the the upper barrel, hence adding interest to one's cleaning chores, and nothing else.
