I thought I was going to get a vortex viper pst 4-16 for my grendel ar, but I stumbled upon this Ziess conquest hd5 2-10 42 rapid-z 600 for sale for 599 new.

So I am building a 6.5 grendel. I want to use it as mainly a hunting gun. Maybe just a little target shooting. Im not an experienced hunter at all so I don't see myself shooting anything past 600 yds absolute max (realistically much less for some time to come). I would like to start hunting coyotes as I have a high dislike for them, then eventually elk at some point in time. I would like to keep this scope under $750. I think thats a fair price for what I want it to do.

So the question is. Is this a deal I can't pass up? Or is it just a good price on a decent scope? If I can pass up this sale what scope would you suggest?

That's a super price if it's a new scope. Not sure we could even price match that. If you can but that scope for $599, grab it... because it's a great deal and you won't be disappointed.
