Anybody got opinions (stupid question, I know) on a decent shoulder holster for autos that won't break the bank? Not much selection locally so I'll probably have to buy online sight unseen.
If you give the size and type of weapon you want to carry it will help us help you.
You will need a very different holster for a full size auto or revolver. Than for a sub compact or snub nose.
Was just looking for general opinions on the various makes, but to be specific: CZ75B and XD40 (standard), is what I'd be carrying at the moment. I like a horizontal draw, but not sure if that would be concealable for those guns.
I have a Miami Classic. If you look at this brand, you may want to get the Miami Classic II. It is the same rig but has wider straps.
Also check out ( ccwsupply.biz ) it has an info page. That shows how to properly fit a shoulder holster.
I would like suggest that when you get any new holster. Try it out at home, over the weekend. This gives you a chance to find your own sweet spot for the holster.
Also give yourself time to adapt to the new setup. It dosent matter what kind of rig you have. You and your body need to get used to it.
+1 on HighNoon. I use their Under Armor as my duty rig, I carry a Beretta Cougar in it. Very comfortable, rugged, and easy to care for. Plus they have good prices and incredible customer service.
