I'm building a work bench this weekend for general gun purposes, cleaning, working, etc... I don't reload yet but will be soon. Trying to get some ideas to incorporate when I build.

I found a huge thread of reloading set ups with some good pictures but they were all dedicated reloading stations. I'm more so looking for a hobby level "messing around" bench.

My space is under my staircase in my basement, about 7 feet long. This is long over due.

This is what I came up with. 6' tall in the back, 3' tall to the table top. 2' deep, 5' wide. Allows plenty of space to work on multiple phases of reloading. Drawers and shelving add great storage areas.

A good bench mounted vise is always a great option. As another posted suggested the solid core door makes a great and cheap table top.
