A lot of really nice 1911's in this post. I especially like the para ordnance/Colt parts gun 1911 that's pretty cool. I'd EDC the heck out of that one.
Speaking of EDC guns here's my 45acp gun and EDC kahr PM45,a great gun if you want a small and lightweight gun in 45 caliber. Also it's surprisingly soft shooting given it's size and weight. I sold a kahr PM9 to fund the purchase of the PM45. I r also had a kahr CM40 which was a nice gun as well however,the PM45 is just slightly bigger and no more difficult to carry or conceal. It disappears appendix IWB under a T shirt just like the PM9 and CM40 before it did. The PM45 is much less snappy on recoil than the CM40 was,it's much easier for follow up shots too.
