Show us a picture of your reloading bench

My bench being designed...

Hi,

I'm reloading last 8 years, and had many different benches so far.

I just moved to Canada, and now I have a big house which one room will be dedicated to my guns and reloading activity (Thank you darling...)

With all my previous experiences, I designed a bench. I'll start cutting the wood next weekend.

I used a software called Alibre, which does not allow me to have more than 17 pieces, so the shelf is not shown in these pictures...

Basicly, it is based on NRMA reloading bench... I made some modifications to dimensions and added 2 beam for extra support.

If any of you need dimensions, just let me know, I think this software should be able to produce a list...

Its and old orange Lyman press I bought when I first got into reloading over 25 years ago it still produces very accurate ammo for 30-06 on down. If I recall I give about $35 for it when I bought it

Im with ya Kevin108,,, this is the extent of my reloading equipment for now anyway. Only reload for my 22 hornet which I had to send in for a defective underlug, still waiting on its return. I really enjoy using this system , Hands on for sure. Hope soon to get same kit for my Marlin 1894 44 mag, and the wifes marlin 336 32 special. I really enjoy taking this camping with us and doing a little reloading at our camp site. OH , the harmonica comes in handy when the wife starts bitchin.

New House, need suggestions

If you refer to post #160 I had my reloading bench in a small corner of the basement. It is supposed to be a roughed in bathroom, 5x10 feet. In the past six months I have gotten divorced and although money poor was able to buy a house of my own. Now I have a 10x11 foot bedroom to turn into a reloading room/man cave/sports room. I have moved my equipment in and roughly found a spot for each item. I would like to get suggestions of ways to finish the job. Any suggestions are welcome for color/wood themes to placement of reloading items. I definetly know shelves are in the the future. Here are some pics of the room as it is now. I am not set up for reloading yet but with deer and pheasant season upon me I want to move fast. Thanks in advance.

My humble beginings...I had broken my benches down thinking I would sell my house, Yah right in this market...So I put it back up since ammo suplies were running low. To the left the green felt bnch is my "Armorer's" bench were I clean weapons or more importantly build my ARs...:D

This is my setup. I'm new to reloading, just got the equipment last week. I've been lurking around the site for awhile and doing some reading.

That's a nice set up and clever use of the desk you've got there Devil . Very common sense approach to space and equipment. Good for you.

Rembrandt-- I just have to tell you that between the pics of some of the beautiful guns you own, and that SWEET reloading/gun/work room....that you suck, and I hate you.On that note, are you looking to adopt a 33 year old?I cook pretty good, and I'm stronger and smarter than I look...I think it would be a smart move on your part..really.Give me a call,I can be packed and leaving the wife and kid in the dust in under an hour....seriously.:D:neener:

OK fellas don't laugh, I'm just getting started. I used a bench design idea from a friend. I used his setup and liked it so well, I tried to emulate it...

Star Press

These are pictures of my buddy's bench, with his Star Press. All the bells and whistles! It takes up about half the space of a 1050 Dillion. I'm soon to have one of my own, but it's missing parts and certainly won't be as slick as this one!

Rembrandt, you make me absolutely sick! How dare you show us a masterpiece like that! You ought to be ashamed of yourself...what are you doing for Thanksgiving? I'd wine and dine you for some help with my reloading bench.

Seriously, you are one hell of a craftsman...I could only wish!

I'd be glad to take you fellows in as adopted family, but there has to be some financial incentive to make it worth while.....come to think of it, maybe I could use you as tax deductions?

My humble bench

I have been waiting for a long time to post pics of the bench, and I am finally done with it! I used the 2x4 basics kit from amazon for the bench and made it 3'x8'. Very sturdy, although I still may anchor it to the wall behind the bench.

Is there any powder you don't have?

Actually, I am waiting on an order now! I have lots of pistol powders, but needed a few others to round out the stable for the larger rifle calibers I am loading for now.

Only been reloading less than a year. I load 30-30, .223, and 45 ACP thus far. Makes winter a bit more tolerable. This is part of one wall in my little "gun room".
