Sig 220st questions

I just recently saw a Sig 220 ST (used) for sale in a local gun shop. It had no box, one 8rd mag, was in great shape, and price was about $625. Whoever had it didn't shoot it much at all. I've been wanting one of these for a looooong time. The only drawback is it's obviously one of the somewhat older 220 ST models. How can I tell? Because the rail on it is the narrower one, not the full-width standard picatinny rail. I know there is an adapter for tac lights, but I have no idea where to get it or how much it costs. Otherwise, I'd most likely buy it and get night sights AND rail adapter for it. A little help here, please?

I'd rather have the newer rail. I paid around $660 new (a few years ago) for my P220ST through my local FFL. See what kind of a deal you can get for a new one, then figure out the cost of the old one with an adapter. Sorry, can't help with where to get the adapter. Try the Sig forum.
