I'm looking forward to getting another chance to evaluate the 92fs, 229 and 226. It seems there isn't a bad choice among them. Does anybody have experience with these guys? http://www.ordnanceoutsellers.com/
It seems a good place to get a CPO Sig. What should I expect to pay a FFL as a transfer fee?

Gentleman's name at Ordnance Outsellers is James. I've never dealt with him personally, but he/OO is very highly spoken of at the SIG forum. From what've heard/read, he'll do you right.

I just bought my SP2022 from OO.

I have nothing against Berettas, but for me, Sig is the perfect handgun. I'd get a 9mm P226 every time for your purposes.

The 226 & 92FS are large but good weapons. The 229 is smaller (but thick) so would be better for CCW. Have you every tried a KAHR :p you will like it :D .

Browning and Kahr...now we venture into the unpleasant reality of Massachusetts gun laws. The Browning is not on the approved weapons roster. The Kahrs mostly are, but they haven't been approved by the Attorney General's under his separate product safety regulations. In other words, they aren't really available for purchase. I saw a used Browning High Power (pre-regulations) on sale for close to $1200. That's twice the cost of a new Beretta or a CPO Sig.
