What is the difference in a Sig 230 vs a 232? Which is better? How does the Sig pistols in 380 compare with other guns such as the PPK/PPKs?

Here is a link to info...

http://world.guns.ru/handguns/hg115-e.htm My experience is with the 230. It is amazingly accurate, easy to aim and fire, light, and oozes quality. I've said on many threads, the Sigs and the Berettas are the two best .380s made...world class guns.
On comparing with a PPK; my experience with one is decades old, so I'll defer on the Walther...I just don't remember much.

Ah. Someone beat me to the world.guns.ru link. Anyway, I have experience with the P232, which is a wonderful gun to shoot (at least, with the Hogue grips--I've never tried it with the factory grips). Very accurate, good sights, and the recoil is hardly noticeable (although recoil is a very subjective thing).

I've never shot a PPK, although my fiancee (owner of the P232 described above, and previously an owner of a P230 in .32) has, and says she prefers the Sig for ergonomic reasons (slide bite, and sharp edges on the grip).

The Sigs are nice guns. Pretty guns. Worth the money.

I've owned a 232 and currently own a new model PPK. I think the only difference in the 230 and 232 was some kind of internal upgrade, but don't rely on that - it's been too long and I don't remember. The 232 was accurate, reliable, and very comfortable to shoot. High quality all the way. Mine would give me slide bite occasionally. Never tried different grips. Should have. The new PPK has an extended tang which keeps me from getting slide bit, but the edges on the tang were very sharp. It, too, is accurate, thin, and completely reliable. If I were considering getting one or the other, I'd hold both and check the feel, and see if the Sig slide wants to kiss your hand. I'd personally give the overall nod to the 232 but I own the PPK because of the slide bite issue that I experienced.

I owned a p230 and it was a world-class pistol. When I sell my old house in Atlanta I plan to buy another (or a p232). The p232 is essentially the same pistol. I've read about some of the upgrades to the gun that led to the p232, but from my observation they are near identical. I have not fired a p232, though.
