Sig 365, 365XL or CZ PCR and dot

I could never make my eye focus on the front sight in a hurry. If I strained for a little while, and closed the other eye, I would be able to force it. After I hit 50 years of age, even that much became impossible. Pistol optics solves that problem. Not sure how old people dealt with it throughout the 20th century. Perhaps they just missed a lot, or didn't live long.

I have a 365 that I carry most of the time. I also have a CZ PCR. I do not have a 365XL....yet.

I have a Holoson 507k in route. I do not know yet what I want to put it on. If the CZ, I have to send off and get it milled. I could buy an XL for the slide and mount it on that. Or send the 365 off and have it milled, which by the way I have an extra one of those. So that would not affect my carry gun.

Has anyone mounted a DOT on a standard 365? Would I be better to send the CZ off and have mailed? As of now, I am not planning on using this as a carry gun. But with my old eyes, that idea may end up coming sooner than later.[/QUOT
