sig 522... any reports??

getting ready to buy a .22lr for me.. my son has a savage mkII which is sweet.. but i was thinking of a semi-auto...

really leaning to the sig 522.. thoughts? anyone have one?

pros and cons vs. another savage mkii (except the semi-auto functionality) or the ruger 10-22?

i'll be putting an ultradot on whatever i get.

Do you own an AR 15? Do you own a Sig 556 or plan on buying one? The only real benefit in my opinion of buying a 22lr that mimics a centerfire rifle would be for cheap practice and that would only be if the 22s controls and ergos were that of it's centerfire counterpart. If you want a semi-auto 22 and don't plan on tacticool practice go with the proven Ruger 10/22. If you plan on buying a 556 or own one get the Sig if you have an ar get the S&W M&P 22 or a dedicated 22 upper.
