I had been debating about getting a SIG P210 for quite some time; they are kinda pricey but that wasn't the real roadblock. I have quite a few handguns (as in many) that I enjoy, and there are only so many days in the week. Finally decided to take the plunge and purchased an adjustable-sighted P210 last month. Took delivery of it on my birthday and took it out to the range the next day. On the 35th shot through it, the slide locked back in the rear position and was frozen in place- could not be freed by any means at hand. A phone call to SIG yielded a prepaid return label, and off it went to New Hampshire. SIG did a fine job with it, replacing the slide and sending it on its way in 24 hours! Then the trouble started- it made it clear across the country in 24 hours, coming to rest at the FedEx service center in Reno on the evening of the 2nd. On account of the holiday weekend, I figured that I would see it on Tuesday the 5th. Not to be- FedEx took until the 8th to deliver it! Every day, it was promised, and every day, no dice...I was very close to contacting the police and reporting it stolen since that was what I feared had happened. At least the saga finally ended and I finally had my gun back home. And- it works! No feed problems, no lock-ups, and it shoots as well as I can...

I'm glad for you that everything has worked out well.
Do you have more details on the technical problem that occurred to your pistol?

As to the cause of the lock-up: All the paperwork said was "replaced slide." All I know is, it works now. And yes, at the price point (or almost any for that matter) it should have been good to go- Kind of like having your new car having to be towed home from the dealership! 001.jpg

CCSIG, congrats on a beautiful handgun. Also, happy that it came back in good working order.
Wearing those grips and adjustable sights, the P210 appeal to me in the right places.
