Hey guys, Having issues with p220 grip screws coming loose. its got a crimson trace laser grip on it along with the OE locking washers with Hex screws, It is missing 1 of the locking washers which i plan on replacing, Any input as to whether or not do what i have read and go with a dab of loctite or go with hogue screws, Thanks guys.

try some thick grease first. try some properly sized O rings first. If they don't work, degrease and then a SMALL dab of BLUE loc-tite will sort it. some use fingernail polish instead.

F731,

I have always use my wife's finger nail polish as a low strength threadlocker on my Sig pistol's grip screws ( p220st, 245, 239, 228). Works fine.

best wishes -oldandslow

I once had a Model 220 that came from the factory with a stripped grip hole in the frame. I hope that's not the case with your pistol but it's something you might want to check and eliminate as a possible cause.

This is the recommendation I usually hear from the knowledgeable SIG guys. This is what I'd do.
