Sig P226 ejector movement

Just purchased a P226 E2 new. Gun runs great, no problems. I did notice however that there is some up and down play in the ejector where it is pinned into the frame, that I have not seen on other guns I have owned, nor my old Sig P239.

Has anyone else seen this free play in their ejectors in the P226/229s?
It may just be normal frame/pin/part tolerances.

I'd say normal, as I just chked one of my older P229nr/40's and it, too. also has a tad of up and down movement but has shot flawlessly, now thru some 7k rounds.

I think you're gun is ok

Slight movement is normal.

It is pretty common to have some play in it. It is just held in place by a retaining pin which IIRC is not under and pressure.
