went from .357 back to my factory barrel of .40s&w and it shoots really low... tried the #6 front #8 rear and currently using #8+#8 and still shoots about 2+ inches low. It P.M.O that it shoots tight groups, but they are like 2-3 inches below where you want it to go pretty much if you want to shoot the bad guy in the head hope he has a really tall abe lincoln style hat and aim for the top of it.
This gun was a tiny bit low from dead on with 6+8 sights using .357 sig but got tired of finding ammo for that and reloading bottlenecks was a pain when I mass reload .40 and .45 for my other guns.
I've tried 4 store bought ammos, reloading several dif loads and still shooting low "it's not me" I'm not jerking the trigger, limp wristing etc.etc. I even put the thing at benchrest with a ransom rest and still shooting low... even had my uncle tried it out and he's been shooting pistols competitively since the 70's
what would be best thing to do, try and find a lower front sight "if they make one" or try and get a higher rear sight ? "or adjustable"
PS I know it's normal for pistol to shoot a little low up close but this is at any range it's just 2-3 inches lower than normal is best way to describe it.
