I am looking for a single stack 9mm. Both the P239 and the T9 appeal to me, however I have nill experince with either model. What model would you suggest and why? I really like the looks of the P239 Two tone with the matching controls. At this point, price is not really the deciding factor (I do't have an unlimited budget either), just want to hear from you folks about these two guns.

I have the Sig P239 in 9mm, it is an excellent carry gun, probably one of the best for CCW. There is really not much down side to it, most people who have carried it will agree due to its size, accuracy and above all reliability it is difficult to find a much better carry piece. I have no experience with the Kahr, but I have heard good things about it as well....
One word of advice, don't cut corners on your holster or belt,go to a good customer maker,a few names you may already be aware of are Lou Alessi, Josh Bulman and Gary Brommeland to name a few that are at the top of the game. To be sure there are others as well, this is just to get you started in the right direction if you need to know some of the custom makers...Good leather and good lead, don't cut corners....Best to you....

Both are excellent firearms. I think your decision will come down to which trigger set-up you prefer -- the DA/SA of the 239 or the quasi-DAO of the Kahr. If you haven't done so already, try to hit up a local range and rent an example of each. I happen to prefer the DA/SA of the Sig, but I'm often found with a Kahr P9 on my hip. Your tastes may vary. Now, if you are talking about the 239 DAK, that throws a wrench in the mix.

Well the verdict is..............the SIG P239! Found a couple stores that have the 239 in 9mm in stock, so a road trip is in order. As I type this, I also have a growing interest in getting a railess P220. There goes my tax return and retro pay check:eek: Thanks again
