I have found a used Sig P250 compact for a very good price. Thinking about picking it up for a carry gun when deep concealment isn't an issue. Anyone use the compact 9mm for an EDC choice?

Currently I use a Sig P238 for my EDC, usually in a pocket holster but sometimes IWB. Love the gun; hides well; shoots great. I occassionally will carry a Colt DS (OWB) around the house and on weekends or 1911 (IWB) when I'm feeling salty.

I've been through the compact guns - had a Ruger SR9c I sold to my BIL when his wife begged they needed a gun NOW because of neighborhood issues. Had a Kahr CW9 that I sold after I got the Sig .380. Now, I'm thinking having a compact 9, in a consistant DA trigger with no safety to mess with would make a good carry gun, again, with a little more firepower than the little Sig.

I have shot the P250 before - the 1st generation. I loved the feel and the trigger pull didn't bother me.

I have a 250SC that I like very much. Like you, I think the fewer levers and switches on a carry gun, the better.

I have heard that you can mix-and-match a C slide with an SC grip frame, which strikes me as an appealing combination. I think grip frames are fairly inexpensive ($40 or so), and you'd probably want an SC magazine, too, so that's something else to consider.

After shooting a P250SC, I didn't leave the range without it! Extremely accurate and trigger is excellent!
Just my dos centavos worth.
