Thoughts on the SIG P250?

I came across 3 P250 complete guns and an exchange kit and extra magazinesfor a total of $800 a while back. I like Sigs, but the online reviews steered me away. All 3 of the guns have a somewhat different trigger pull, but if you are ok with double action revolvers, you'll like them. Revolver girl likes them as well and if I installed the short reach trigger in one, it wouldn't be mine any more.
She bought me a .45 compact exchange kit for my birthday and I found used magazines at CDNN for $20. The ones I got were all in great shape.
I tended to shoot them low at first, but getting used to the trigger has improved that.
I'm carrying a Caracal c right now, but would have any problem with carrying the P250s in the appropriate size,

Mine came in last night. Have not shot it yet, but impressed with everything so for(expect for it coming with one mag :( )

Can't understand all the hate for the trigger. It is a DA trigger, but maybe the best I have ever seen.

I agree about the trigger, TennJed. It's quite possible the finest DAO trigger I've ever used. In the race gun era, it takes some getting used to.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your P250.

I have all kinds of gun triggers, so to speak. I have SA revolvers and DA revolvers. I have DOA only autos and DA/SA autos. I even have a couple is SA only 1911s and 1 striker fire. I enjoy shooting them all and think it is a benefit to be well rounded and used to shooting them all.

All I have ever carried is a DA gun, snub nose revolver or pocket poly 380s. Just a personal preference but I rather have a long trigger and no safety.

I bought the p250 to fill a void in my collection (poly 45acp) and range fun. No plans for carry. However after seeing the trigger I might have to consider a sub compact p250 as an EDC option. Of course it needs to prove itself reliable and accurate first, but I can't rave enough about the trigger

some of us Southpaws don't have too much issue with SiGs...I prefer the P Series (of course I have a lot of trigger time with them starting in 1988)...

...I have my first SiGPro enroute to me (SP2340 in 357 SiG) and hear what the P250 people say...might be another bargain winner SiG as long as they don't learn how to market it (good for us) and you like the trigger pull...
