Would like to hear your opinions/experiences with both of these guns if possible, as far as shooting, reliability, etc. Which do you think would print less in the appendix position with just a t-shirt (warm weather carry)? I'm 5'7 and 140lbs if that helps.

My good friends have both and like them.
Glock 26 is chunkier yet feels nicely stout.

Regular SIG P365 is almost pocketable in size.
I have not yet seen a P365XL in-person, though.

I have often carried a G26 IWB under a loose T-shirt.
It is one of my favorite pistols.
You don't feel it would be too chunky/fat to conceal without printing for a relatively skinny person like myself (5'7/140lbs/30 in waist), or no? I plan to wear a slightly loose fit t-shirt, but nothing ridiculously loose or baggy, ya know? Think I could pull it off at my size with good belt and holster?

I've shot them both. P365 is a little worse on recoil, but slimmer and easier to conceal.
So the longer grip length of the P365XL prints less than the shorter, yet noticeably thicker grip of the G26? Im tryna figure out which one would be the slightly better option for warm weather ccw.

I have a G26 as my primary carry weapon. I carry it IWB in a gunfighter's inc Wraith kydex holster. I am 5'10" and 190 lbs. It conceals fine under a loose T shirt or sweat shirt. You can carry it at the 4:00 position and hide it better in the curve of your body. Also, you can carry at the appendix position if that works for you.

I've not shot the P365XL so have no comment. My G26 has been 100% for me and if I lost it today, I would buy another this afternoon.

I like the G26, it's a bit chunkier but it conceals well and shoots easy. Not a fan of anything SIG but I've also had G43 and G43X and Iike the G26 better than any of them (although I carry a G27).

Im 5-6, 155# with a 32-34" waist depending on the pants, and carry a Glock 17 AIWB daily, including under just a normal sized tee shirt in the summer. I carry my 26 in a Smart Carry as a back up on occasion, or on those rare occasions I cant carry the 17. Printing really isn't an issue, unless you're doing something really weird, even with the 17.

Ive handled a couple of 365's but haven't shot one. Just didn't see that it would do anything better than my 26's and I lose the commonality.

The 26 is a great gun and shoots and handles like a full size gun, at basically the same distances, and with a simple mag swap, basically is one. It will take any of the larger 9mm mags without issue.

It will also use, or can use, the same holsters as the full size guns. Which can be a plus when carried AIWB, due to the short barrel and top heavy weight.

Depending on the holster and how it attaches to the belt, the longer holster can stabilize things better and help with keeping the gun from flipping out if you bend over. A good kydex holster with proper clips pretty much eliminates this though.

My edc today is a Glock 26 with 12 round mag and a 15 round spare mag. Put some trijicon 3 dots on it a year or two back.

It’s easily carried in a TRex Arms sidecar AIWB holster that is tuckable.

It’s a great option for me, and one that I would happily suggest for consideration.

Inside or outside the waist band?
Type and make of holster makes a BIG difference in "printing"

I like just about all of the various versions of the SIG P365. Never could get a decent grip on a Glock G26; it felt more like I was holding the barrel of a baseball bat. Just not my cup of Almdudler I reckon.

Now a far as concealed carry goes I have found that the right combination of gun belt and holster can make just about any full size semi-auto (Desert Eagles and the Wildley need not apply), disappear under a lightweight polo shirt.

What @bannockburn said ^^^ I used to EDC a 27 many years ago. I now EDC a p365XL. The 27 is slightly larger and chunkier than the p365XL. That said, both are easily concealable and it's really up to your preference as far as operating controls and shootability of the pistol for you.

[edit] The 26 is shorter, about the same length and slightly thicker than the p365 XL. Feels chunkier though

Both guns you are considering are easily concealable. I pocket a 27 no problem. I used to have a 365 and liked it but decided I had enough 9mm carry options. I prefer a little bigger myself. The 27 is actually my smallest CC option. I have a CZ RAMI and HK p30sk that are my 9mm carry options, both are a little taller than the 27. I only buy pants and shorts that have pockets big enough to accommodate them. I don't think the 26/27 is chunky at all, what I think makes it seem that way is the squared off trigger guard. I think that is what makes it print more and seem more chunky personally. Anyways, whichever one you shoot better is the one you should carry.

You can get opinions here all day long and that's cool but I suggest you handle both and pick the one that fits you best. Both are fine weapons and the wife and I have both. She carried the 26 for years. I then bought her a Micro 9 and she liked it and switched out to the Micro 9. She never complained about recoil or ever mentioned it. I bought a 365XL on a whim to see what all the fuss was about. Well it's a damn fine weapon and what I carry now after carrying a commander size 1911 for years. I let the wife shoot the 365XL one day at the range. I had to go buy another one and that's what she carries now. Ymmv so check them both out and pick the one that fits you best.

Thanks. I plan to handle them both and get a feel for them. Does your wife seem to have an easier time with concealing the G26 or the P365XL? I'm just trying to figure out which have been more difficult to conceal by people with experience with both. Does she carry appendix?

The Sig would be my choice. It is skinnier and has a better grip. FWIW, I really like Glocks, but I think they really missed the bus with the 26 and similar size pistols for CC. I carry a shield 9.

Do you carry appendix? Is there a slight difference in printing between the G27 and the P365XL if you can remember? I'm trying to get a general consensus if the thickness if the Glock or the length of the P365XL will be harder to conceal aiwb.
